• A BOMBA confirmation letter is separate from Fire Certificate application or renewal, fire extinguisher servicing, BOMBA M&E plan submission, building-plan approval, renovation approval, and other licences or permits.
• The premises owner and business operator remain responsible for maintaining suitable fire-safety arrangements and valid maintenance records.
• Fire-safety equipment and systems should not be blocked, disabled, altered, or used in a manner that compromises safety.
• Technical drawings, engineering design, testing, commissioning, system installation, and professional endorsement must be completed by the appropriate qualified parties where required.
• A confirmation letter or supporting document does not replace the need to obtain other approvals, licences, inspections, or certificates applicable to the premises.
