Role Description​​

Your Role as a Legal Intern

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on regulatory, compliance, and tech law issues.
  • Draft and review contracts, NDAs, IP rights, and other legal documents using tools like Odoo.
  • Support SME clients with licensing, permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare clear summaries, reports, and internal memos for the Legal team.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Law (interest in tech law preferred).
  • Strong legal writing, documentation, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Bonus points:

  • Knowledge of Malaysian regulatory frameworks, PDPA, IP, or tech-related regulations.
  • Familiarity with contract drafting and compliance processes.
  • Experience with digital tools like Odoo’s Document Management.
  • Prior exposure to startups, SMEs, or digital businesses.
