- Annual Fees:
- License for issuing, repairing, and selling weighing instruments (PBJ): RM200
- License for repairing and selling weighing instruments (BJ): RM100
- License for selling weighing instruments (J): RM50
- Payments must be made via bank draft, postal order, or money order payable to the Director General of Weights and Measures.
Important Rules
- Applicants must submit complete documents, including form ATS.1/2011, company registration copy, applicant’s ID card, and business license certificate from the local authority (PBT).
- Businesses involving foreign participation require KPDN approval before starting operations.
- The license is valid for a maximum of three (3) years and must be renewed before the expiry date
